Thinking of asking for free daily shiny?

Shiny is the currency of the Backyard and pays for the development of the game as well as the hosting. You can buy it via Paypal or by completing offers (some free, some not)

Shiny is not required to play the game as you can do pretty much everything without it, it just takes a bit longer to do. For all these reasons please do not suggest the following in this forum:

• Giving daily shiny for the number of friends you have or any other measurement.
• Making a building that gathers shiny like the other resource gathering buildings.
• Making a building to convert other resources into shiny.

It is possible to earn Shiny for free by completing quests, you get 1,000 for just building a General Store! Just click on the Quests tab in game and then click on "Bonus" on the left for a list of Shiny giving Quests.

Lastly, a HUGE thanks to all who have purchased Shiny so far, it keeps us going and helps keep the game free for others, you rock!
